Glenside, PA: The Arcadia University women's swim team earned a 165-97 win over Ramapo College today in non-conference action. The Knights improve to 2-0 overall while the Roadrunners begin the season at 0-1 overall.
The 200-yard medley relay team for the Roadrunners won the event in 1:58.07. The team was made up of
Eliza Pluckhorn,
Grace McCrone,
Fiona Misiura and
Paris Fox. Pluckhorn earned first place in the 100-yard backstroke in 1:05.03 while
Kiaranina Liwag touched the wall in third place in 1:09.36. McCrone finished in third place in the 100-yard breaststroke (1:16.46) while Misiura captured a first-place finish in the 200-yard butterfly in 2:20.56, six seconds ahead of the Knights.
Brittany Goodman placed third overall in the same event in 2:28.48 while
Breanna Gleason was fourth in 2:30.92. Pluckhorn touched the wall in first place in the 200-yard backstroke in 2:09.20 while Misiura was first in the 100-yard butterfly in 1:02.93.
Abigael Coughlin placed third in the same event when she clocked in at 1:09.19. Fox posted a time of 2:26.63 in the 200-yard IM and placed second overall while the women's 400-yard freestyle relay team placed second when they clocked in at 4:02.36. The team was made up of
Carissa Campbell, Misiura, Goodman and
Kiersten Farrell.
The Roadrunners return to action on Saturday, November 3rd when they host the College of New Jersey in a NJAC meet at 2pm.
