Mahwah, NJ: The Ramapo College men's basketball team jumped three spots to #10 in the country in the latest
D3hoops.com Top 25 national poll. Ramapo received 373 votes in the week eight poll. The poll was released Monday night and is voted on by a panel of 25 coaches, Sports Information Directors and media members from across the country, and is published weekly.

After sitting at #13 the previous two polls, the Roadrunners cracked the top ten for the first time this season. Â Ramapo posted two key NJAC wins last week with a 108-85 victory over William Paterson University at home before they traveled to Stockton University and held on for a 89-81 road win. The Roadrunners now stand at 17-1 overall with a non-conference win over York College (NY) on Monday night 97-63.

Patrick Peterson earned his first career NJAC Rookie of the Week honor after averaging ten points, three rebounds, two steals and one assist last week. Peterson contributed with ten points in 18 minutes along with four rebounds; three steals and two assists against WPU. He also scored ten points along with two rebounds and a steal in the win over Stockton.

The Roadrunners will take on rival Montclair State University at home on Wednesday night at 7:30 PM at the Bradley Center. Ramapo defeated the Red Hawks earlier this season 86-58.
