Box Score Galloway, NJ:  The Stockton University men's basketball team held Ramapo College to under 30 points in both halves today in NJAC action as the Ospreys defeated the Roadrunners, 82-52. The Ospreys move to 14-10 overall and 11-6 in the NJAC while the Roadrunners now stand at 6-18 overall and 5-12 in the league.

The lead changed seven times in the first 10 minutes of the first half as the two teams battled before Stockton took a 15-14 lead on a three-pointer from Charlie Bell IV with 10:08 on the clock. Stockton never looked back as they built an 11-point lead with 2:05 remaining on a jumper from Tayvon Gaither, 38-27. Orion Mickens scored on a tip-in off his own miss before Gaither added two points for the Ospreys to wrap up the first half, 40-29. In the second half with just over 15 minutes remaining Stockton's Justin Harper sank back-to-back three-pointers to start an 11-0 run which extended their lead to 22 points with 13:27 remaining. Isaiah Chung broke the Stockton run with back-to-back baskets for the Roadrunners which started a mini 7-2 run capped off with a three-pointer from Alex Potts, 48-65. Another 10-0 run from Stockton allowed their lead to extend to 75-48 with just under five minutes left in the game. The next two points for each team were scored on the free throw line before Colin Raimann tallied a three-pointer for Stockton, 80-50. Dylan Guzzardo scored the final points for Ramapo on a layup while the Ospreys added two more on a jumper from Raimann for the 82-52 win.

Stockton had three players score in double figures as Justin Harper tallied three three-pointers and ended with 23 points, five rebounds and five assists. Gaither and Bell each posted 15 points while Jahmir Payoute led the way with 13 rebounds. Stockton shot 41% (30-72) from the field, 32% (11-34) from the three-point line and 64% (11-17) from the free throw line.

Enoch Hutchinson led Ramapo on the court with 13 points and four rebounds while Mickens posted ten points and seven rebounds. Jalen Thomas led the team with ten rebounds while he added two steals and five points. Tyrell Murchison contributed with eight points, three rebounds and three assists. The team shot 33% (21-62) from the floor, 33% (6-18) from the three-point line and 36% (4-11) from the free throw line.

Ramapo returns to action on Wednesday, Feb. 18th when they host William Paterson University at the Bradley Center at 7:30pm. The Roadrunners will honor their senior class in a pre-game ceremony.
