Mahwah, NJ: The Ramapo College men's basketball team remains ranked #13 in the latest
D3hoops.com Top 25 poll. Ramapo received 269 votes in the week seven poll. The poll was released Monday night and is voted on by a panel of 25 coaches, Sports Information Directors and media members from across the country, and is published weekly.
The Roadrunners saw their 14-game win streak snapped Saturday night at the hands of then #24 New Jersey City University. The Gothic Knights moved up two spots to #22 in the poll, the only other NJAC team ranked.
Ramapo (14-1, 8-1 NJAC) looks to return to the win column this Wednesday night when they host NJAC rival William Paterson University at the Bradley Center at 7:30pm. The Roadrunners defeated the Pioneers 98-76 in the first conference game of the season on November 22 in Wayne, NJ. Four Roadrunners posted double figures in points in the game, with
Sultan Aminu leading the way with 24 points and nine rebounds.
Thomas Bonacum added 18 points while
Zahir Newell and
Cory Soanes each posted 15 points in the game.
