Wayne, NJ: The Ramapo College women's swim team improved to 7-2 overall and 3-1 in the New Jersey Athletic Conference with a 173-101 road win over William Paterson University. The Pioneers drop to 8-6 overall and 0-3 in the conference.
Ramapo opened the meet by taking the top two spots in the 200-yard medley relay. The team made up of
Danielle Bach,
Brenda Arthur,
Lauren Keller and
Maggie Herbert took home a first place finish in 1:55.50 while the team made up of
Cara Housel,
Megan Fosko, Megan Trewhella and
Devan Swistack placed second overall in 2:02.38.

Ana Nunez took home a first place finish in the 1,000-freestyle when she clocked in at 12:21.48.
Kylie Suydam finished in first place in the 200-yard freestyle (2:08.21) while
Caitlyn Bach (1:05.37) and C. Housel (1:07.72) went 1-2 in the 100-yard backstroke. Â In the 200-yard butterfly, Ramapo took the top three spots. Arthur placed first in 2:21.71 while Jamie Ann Stein (2:26.05) and
Victoria Schon (2:39.70) finished in second and third place overall. Herbert captured a first place finish in the 50-yard freestyle (24.64) while C. Bach (27.07) took home second place and
Maria Luisi (27.10) placed third in the same event. Keller put in a sub minute performance in the 100-yard freestyle when she clocked in 58.26 for first place while Trewhella finished in first place in the 200-yard backstroke (2:22.79). C. Bach also placed first in the 100-yard butterfly (1:06.56) while Trewhella took home a second place finish in 1:08.04.
The Roadrunners return to action on February 20th when they travel to the Metropolitan Conference Championships. The three-day meet is hosted by Rutgers University. Last season the women's team finished in 8th place with 405 points.
