Ewing, NJ: The Ramapo College women's swim team fell to NJAC rival the College of New Jersey today 168-93. The Roadrunners now stand at 2-2 overall and 0-1 in the NJAC while the Lions remain undefeated at 3-0 overall and 2-0 in the conference.
The Roadrunners won the 200-yard medley relay by out touching TCNJ at the wall by one second. The team made up of
Danielle Bach,
Brenda Arthur,
Maggie Herbert and
Sarah Stacey won in 1:53.09. Stacey also won the 200-yard freestyle in 2:03.36 while
Meghan Trewhella placed third with a time of 2:04.56. Herbert won the 50-yard freestyle in 24.65 while she also took first place in the 100-yard freestyle when she out touched TCNJ in 54.48. In the 200-yard breaststroke,
Samantha Chan took second place (2:37.35) while Arthur took first place in the 100-yard butterfly in 1:01.76.
The 200-yard freestyle relay team placed second overall when they clocked in at 1:42.23. The team was made up of Herbert, Arthur, Stacey and
Caitlyn Bach.
The Roadrunners return to action on November 14th when they travel to Rowan University for a NJAC meet at 1pm.
