Box Score 3 Madison, NJ: The Ramapo College women's volleyball team posted two wins and one loss today in a tri-match-up at FDU-Florham. The Roadrunners first collected a tough loss to host FDU-Florham, 2-3 (21-25, 22-25, 25-17, 25-13, 13-15), before dropping Mt. Aloysius, 3-0 (25-8, 25-20, 25-16), and Hunter, 3-1 (25-17, 25-19, 14-25, 25-15). With the 2-1 record on the day, Ramapo now stands at 11-4 overall on the year.
Rookie
Larysa Iwaskiw led the team against FDU, collecting 19 kills and three service aces, while
Rachel Selmore posted 12 kills in the loss. The team hit a combined .114 with 49 kills on 158 attempts with 31 errors.
Kaitlin Mac Iver dished out 37 assists and added six aces, while Iwaskiw led the team's defense with 18 digs.
Against Mt. Aloysius, Iwaskiw again led the team's offense collecting 15 kills, while Selmore added 12 in the win. The team hit .286 with 39 kills and 11 errors on 98 attempts. Mac Iver dished out 19 assists and
Nicole Herrmann added 14.
Sarah Mulligan led the defense with 18 digs.
In their final match-up of the day against Hunter, the team hit a combined .112, collecting 40 kills, with Iwaskiw again leading the way with 15 kills. Mac Iver collected 38 assists and Iwaskiw added a team leading 22 digs in the win.
Ramapo will take on New Jersey City University in their first NJAC match-up of the season on Tuesday, September 23rd at 7pm.
