Box Score Mahwah, NJ: The Ramapo College women's lacrosse team dropped a tough, 0-17 decision to the Red Hawks of Montclair State University today at the Athletic Center. With the loss the Roadrunners fall to 4-6 overall, and 1-2 in the New Jersey Athletic Conference, while the Red Hawks remain undefeated earning their 14th win of the season, fourth in conference play.
It took just 25 seconds for the Red Hawks to get on the scoreboard and they never looked back as they shut out the Roadrunners by 17 goals in a New Jersey Athletic Conference match-up in Mahwah.
Jenna Bussiere get the Red Hawks on the board, while Tierney Conlon collected four goals and four assists, Avianna Paraggio tallied three goals, Kelly Schoneveld and Kasey Maguire added two, and Bussiere added an additional two in just the first half of play to head into the intermission with a 14-0 lead.
The Red Hawks out shot Ramapo 20-4 while
Reagan Vier collected five saves in the net for Ramapo. Alexandra Tepper recorded one save in net for Montclair.
In the second half, Montclair added three more goals, one each from Conlon, Vanessa Rey, and Schoneveld, to take home a 17-0 win over Ramapo. MSU again out shot Ramapo, 7-5, while Vier and Tepper each picked up an additional two saves.
Ramapo returns to action on Saturday, April 19th when they travel to Rowan University for a 1pm conference match-up.
