Box Score Mahwah, NJ: The Ramapo College men's volleyball team earned a, 3-0 (25-17, 25-22, 25-16), Skyline Conference victory over rival New Jersey City University tonight at the Bradley Center.
The Roadrunners (12-4 overall, 5-1 Skyline) combined to hit, .438 on the night with 48 total kills on 89 attempts.
Ahjon Petty led the team with 14 kills, hitting .500 in the match.
Mike Kane tallied 12 kills on 19 attempts with only one attack error, hitting .579.
Andrew Balint dished out a team high 42 assists while recording two assisted blocks.
Nick Hrehovcik hit, .438 on the night with seven kills, two service aces and a team high ten digs.
Brian Colabella posted six kills and six digs while
Kurt MacDonald recorded a perfect passing percentage and seven digs.
For NJCU (6-9 overall, 4-3 Skyline), Sheldon Coure led the team with 12 kills on 16 attempts with only one error as he hit .688. Daque Wilcox and Kendall Tribbett each posted five kills while Gary Preston, Jr. dished out a team high 26 assists. Jon Diaz recorded a team high eight digs.
Ramapo returns to action March 7th and March 8th when they travel to the Endicott Tournament in Beverly, MA. On Friday night, the Roadrunners will take on Emmanuel College at 6:00 PM and on Saturday they go up against Rivier College at 11:00 AM and Daniel Webster College at 1:00 PM.
