Box Score New York, NY:  Rookie Ahjon Petty led the Ramapo College men's volleyball team to a 3-2, (23-25, 25-17, 21-25, 25-16, 15-7), road win over Hunter College. The Roadrunners improve to 10-3 overall while the Hawks now stand at 3-8 on the season.

Petty pounded out 24 kills on 50 attempts in the match as he hit, .360. He also recorded two aces, six digs and three assisted blocks. Senior Brian Colabella added ten kills and ten digs while senior Nick Hreovcik posted a team high 18 digs while adding eight kills. Senior Mike Kane also recorded eight digs while senior Chris Sidnam tallied a team high five assisted blocks. Rookie Kurt MacDonald posted 12 digs while senior Andrew Balint dished out a team high 31 assists.

For Hunter, Matt Ng led the team with 17 kills and seven digs while Alexandru Barbulesc added 11 kills on 20 attempts and no errors; as he hit .550 on the night. Barbulesc also posted four solo blocks. Colin Horn recorded 14 digs while Stanley Martinez dished out 35 assists.

The Roadrunners return to action on Sunday when they travel to Purchase College for a Skyline Conference match up where they will also take on Kean University. Ramapo will go up against host Purchase at 10:00am and Kean at Noon.
