Glassboro, NJ: The Ramapo College women's swim team fell to NJAC rival Rowan, 148-103. The Roadrunners now stand at 4-5 overall, 1-3 in the NJAC while the Profs improve to 9-2 overall and 3-1 in the conference.
Jamie Stein captured a first place finish in the 200-yard butterfly, and nine points for the Roadrunners. She clocked in just ahead of the Profs with a time of 2:25.17, Rowan's Christi Gustafson placed second with a time of 2:25.25.
Maggie Nagle scored four points for the Ramapo with a second place finish in the 100-yard backstroke. She clocked in at 1:04.93 while
Brenda Arthur placed second overall in the 100-yard breaststroke with a time of 1:11.99. Rowan's Olivia Wojtowicz took home first place in the same event as she out touched Arthur with a time of 1:11.65.
Kari Lefebvre placed second overall in the 50-yard freestyle (27.44) while she placed second in the 100-yard freestyle (59.52). Nagle captured a second place finish in the 200-yard backstroke when she touched the wall in 2:20.78.
Megan Fosko placed second in the 200-yard breaststroke (2:40.70) while Allison Van Glahn finished in third place overall (2:42.83).
Kylie Suydam clocked in at 5:41.16 in the 500-yard freestyle for a second place finish while Arthur (1:01.76), Stein (1:05.31) and
Victoria Schon (1:09.12) went 1-2-3 in the 100-yard butterfly. Suydam,
Amanda Wilson, Stein and
Ana Nunez teamed up to placed second in the 200-yard freestyle relay with a time of 4:09.76.
The Roadrunners will return to action when they travel to the
MET Conference Championships. The meet will take place on the campus of Rutgers University from February 14th through the 16th.
