Camden, NJ: The Ramapo College women's volleyball team defeated Rutgers Camden University tonight, 3-0 (25-15, 25-15, 25-17). The Roadrunners improve to 19-8 overall and 5-2 in the NJAC while the Scarlet Raiders now stand at 5-22 overall, 1-6 in the NJAC.
Ramapo was led by rookie
Larysa Iwaskiw who tallied 11 kills on 40 attempts. She posted 11 digs and three aces. Junior
Katelyn Ward posted three kills on four attempts, hitting .750 in the match while she recorded two solo blocks. Sophomore
Emily Guzman recorded six kills, six digs and two blocks while rookie
Amanda Rose posted four kills in the match.

Kaitlin Mac Iver dished out a team high 25 assists and five aces while posting seven digs and one kill.
Irmak Dagistanli led the team on defense with 17 digs while she also tallied four aces. Ramapo hit .170 in the match and recorded 30 kills.
For the Scarlet Raptors, Olivia Rowland led the team with five kills while Alexandra Griffin added four of her own. Caitlin Marchlowitz posted a team high 15 digs while Melanie Kaiser added 13 digs of her own. Rowland also led the team with three blocks including two solo blocks. Rutgers Camden hit .048 in the match and recorded 20 total kills.
Ramapo returns to action on October 24th and 25th when they travel to the St. Joseph's College - LI Tournament. On Friday, Ramapo takes on Keystone at 4pm and Penn State Wilkes-Barre at 6pm. On Saturday afternoon they go up against Alfred State at 12pm and host St. Joseph's - LI at 2pm.
