Box Score 2 New York, NY: The Ramapo College women's volleyball team dropped two matches today at the Baruch Invitational. The Roadrunners now stand at 6-8 overall and 1-1 in the NJAC.
Ramapo went up against Hunter College and fell 1-3 (24-26, 23-25, 25-16, 19-25) to the Hawks before falling 0-3 (13-25, 19-25, 15-25) to Endicott College.
Sophomore setter
Kaitlin Mac Iver was named to the All-Tournament team for her efforts on the court. She dished out 41 assists in the tournament while recording four service aces and 31 digs.
Against Hunter, rookie
Rachel Selmore led the Roadrunners with 19 kills on 62 attempts, she also posted 13 digs and three total blocks. Rookie
Emily Guzman posted nine kills, one ace and a team high 12 total blocks, including five solo blocks.
Mac Iver posted 12 assists while sophomore
Patricia Bergamasco dished out a team high 16 assists. Sophomore
Cathryn Smart added six kills and a team high four service aces. Sophomore
Emily Harris and Mac Iver tallied a team high 20 digs a piece.
Against Endicott, junior Sarah Pendleton and Guzman posted five kills while Selmore added four of his own. Mac Iver dished out nine assists while Harris posted a team high 14 digs. Guzman recorded a team high four blocks in the match.
Ramapo will return to action when they host NJAC rival New Jersey City University on Thursday, October 3rd at 7pm at the Bradley Center.
