Box Score 1 | Box Score 2 Mahwah, NJ:  The Ramapo College women's volleyball team earned a 3-1 (26-24, 25-10, 24-26, 25-10) victory tonight over Mt. Aloysius in their opening match-up of the Roadrunner Invitational, before falling to Elmira, 3-0 (17-25, 19-25, 15-25). With the win and the loss Ramapo now stands at 3-4 on the year.
 
Rachel Selmore led Ramapo in their first match against Mt. Aloysius (2-6) with 19 kills on 47 attempts, while Cathryn Smart and Emily Guzman recorded 11 and ten kills respectively.  Sara Pendleton chipped in seven kills and Kaitlin Mac Iver led the team dishing out 26 assists.  Emily Harris led the team's defense with 17 digs and Selmore added 16 of her own.
 
In their second match-up of the night against Elmira (5-6), the Roadrunners were led by Selmore, who recorded eight kills. Smart contributed five while the team hit a combined 21-90.  Mac Iver contributed ten assists and Harris again led the defense with 14 digs.  Selmore chipped in ten digs of her own.
 
Ramapo returns to action tomorrow when they face off with Farmingdale at noon and Manhattanville at 2pm.
