Box Score 1 | Box Score 2 Rochester, NY:  The Ramapo College men's volleyball team dropped two matches today, on day two of the Purple & Gold Invitational hosted by Nazareth College.  The Roadrunners first fell to #15 Rivier College, 3-0 (26-28, 20-25, 19-25), before falling short to the #1 ranked team in the nation, host Nazareth, 3-1 (19-25, 19-25, 25-17, 16-25).  With the losses, Ramapo falls to 17-7 overall.

Junior Nick Hrehovcik and senior Andrew Balint, led the Roadrunners in match one, collecting a combined 16 kills, eight each, on 19 and 20 attempts respectively.  Brian Colabella recorded seven kills of his own, as the team combined for 35 kills in the loss.  Harsh Prajapati dished out 24 assists and Mike Kane put away five assisted blocks, while Aaron Kerschner picked up a team leading five digs on defense.

In the team's second match-up of the day, Colabella put away a team leading 11 kills and rookie Peter Desvousges collected seven, as the team hit a combined 36-108 with 23 errors, hitting .120 in the loss.  Prajapati assisted on 30 points while Kerschner again led the defense, this time with eight digs.  Balint picked up seven digs of his own. 

For his efforts thi sweekend, Prajapati was named to the All-Tournament team.

The Roadrunners return to action on Thursday, March 28th when they host Hunter College at the Bradley Center at 7pm.
