RAMAPO WOMEN'S SWIMMING DEFEATS CSI, 164-80

Keller shines in her final meet of the season

Mahwah, NJ: The Ramapo College women's swim team defeated non-conference rival the College of Staten Island, 164-80, today at the Bradley Center.

The Roadrunners even their overall record at 3-3 overall while the Dolphins fall to 4-4 overall. This meet concluded junior captain Lauren Keller's season as she will be leaving the team and traveling to Paris, France with Ramapo's study abroad program.

The 200-yard medley relay team posted a winning time of 2:02.26, the team was made up of Maggie Nagle, Allison Van Glahn, Brenda Arthur and Kari Lefebvre. Ana Nunez and Tori Barnes went 1-2 in the 1,000-yard freestyle with times of 12:06.58 and 12:19.81. Lefevbvre and Devan Swistack went 1-2 in the 200-yard freestyle as they clocked in at 2:06.81 and 2:08.94 respectively. Housel won the 100-yard backstroke in 1:09.37 while Nagle won the 100-yard breaststroke in 1:15.02. Keller won the 50-yard freestyle as she out-touched teammate Brenda Arthur in 25.86, Arthur came in second with a time of 26.56. The 400-yard freestyle relay team made up of Arthur, Lefebvre, Nagle and Keller finished with the fastest time of 4:01.80.

The Roadrunners return to action at the Florida International University Invite on January 4th, in Miami, FL.
