Box Score Las Vegas, NV:  The Ramapo College men's basketball team fell short to Bridgewater State University (3-5) tonight at the 2013 D3hoops.com Classic, 72-77.

Elvonney Poole, Frank Nock and Terry Hicks led Ramapo with 11 points a piece while George Sapp tallied nine points of his own. Poole also grabbed seven rebounds to lead the team while Hicks dished out a team high three steals. The Roadrunners led 35-29 at the half while they shot 46% (15-32) from the field and 57% (4-7) from the foul line. In the second half, Bridgewater State outscored Ramapo, 48-37 to take the game. Ramapo shot 45% (29-64) from the field in the game and 20% (2-10) from beyond the three point line. They also shot 52% (12-23) from the foul line in the game.

For Bridgewater State, four players scored in double figures while Brendan Monteiro scored a game high 26 points. Michael Lofton posted a double-double with 13 points and 13 rebounds. Kyle Gibson tallied 16 points while Barrett Murphy added ten points of his own. The team shot 51% (27-52) from the field, 45% (9-20) from beyond the three point line and 56% (14-25) from the foul line.

Ramapo (4-6) returns to action tomorrow night at 9pm (EST) when they take on John Carroll University at the D3hoops.com Classic.
