RAMAPO SPLITS FINAL REGULAR SEASON TRI-MATCH

Box Score 1 | Box Score 2 Mahwah, NJ:  The Ramapo College women's volleyball team split their final regular season tri-match today with FDU-Florham and Mount St. Mary College.

The Roadrunners fell to FDU-Florham in their first match of the day, a match that went to a five games, 2-3 (25-22, 21-25, 25-12, 18-25, 16-14). Sara Pendleton posted 22 kills in the match while Emily Guzman added 13 kills of her own. Cathryn Smart collected ten kills, five digs and three blocks while Kaitlin Mac Iver dished out a team high 46 assists. Emily Harris posted 20 digs while Irmak Dagistanli added 16 of her own.

In their 3-1 (25-16, 25-14, 22-25, 25-18) win over the Knights, Harris led the way on defense for the Roadrunners with a season high 32 digs, she also posted two aces and four assists. Pendleton posted a team high 18 kills as she hit .424 in the match. Natalia Saavedra and Guzman each posted seven kills in the match while Saavedra added 13 digs. Mac Iver dished out 35 assists and tallied three aces. The Roadrunners recorded 12 aces in the match.

Ramapo will return to action on Tuesday, November 5th in the opening round of the NJAC Tournament. The Roadrunners take on #4 Montclair State University at 7pm. This is the eighth straight Tournament appearance for the Roadrunners.
