Box Score 2 New Rochelle, NY: The Ramapo College women's volleyball team earned two wins today over non-conference opponents Lehman College and the College of New Rochelle.
The Roadrunners even their overall record at 8-8. Lehman falls to 13-5 while New Rochelle now stands at 13-9 on the year.
Ramapo defeated Lehman, 3-0 (25-16, 25-21, 25-18) in their first match of the day.
Sara Pendleton led the Roadrunners with ten kills on 23 attempts while
Cathryn Smart added eight kills, four aces and six digs.
Rachel Selmore and
Emily Guzman each posted seven kills in the match.
Kaitlin Mac Iver dished out a team high 31 assists while
Emily Harris led teh team with 12 digs.
The Roadrunners posted a 3-0 (25-10, 25-14, 26-24) win over the host, College of New Rochelle. Pendleton once again led the team with 13 kills on 29 attempts as she hit .310 in the match. She posted three total blocks. Selmore added nine kills on 21 attempts with no errors while she hit .429. Harris posted nine digs while Mac Iver added 26 assists.
Ramapo returns to action when they host NJAC rival Kean University on October 10th at 7:00pm.
