Ewing, NJ: The Ramapo College women's swim team fell to conference rival the College of New Jersey today, 92.5-162.5. The Lions improve to 2-0 overall, 2-0 in the conference while the Roadrunners drop to 1-1 overall, 0-1 in the NJAC.
Rookie
Brenda Arthur set a new school record in the 100-yard butterfly when she clocked in at 1:01.52, for a second place finish.
Lauren Keller took home a first place finish in the 50-yard freestyle when she touched the wall in 25.39. Keller placed second overall in the 100-yard freestyle with a time of 55.34 while she also captured a first place finish in the 200-yard freestyle in 2:02.21.
Kylie Suydam placed second in the 1,000-yard freestyle when she clocked in at 11:50.00.
Megan Fosko placed first in the 100-yard breaststroke with a time of 1:14.74.
The Roadrunners return to action on November 2nd when they travel to New Paltz for a meet at 1pm.
