Sara Pendleton led the Ramapo College women's volleyball team in a 3-1 (25-19, 25-21, 22-25, 26-24) victory over NJAC rival Rutgers-Camden University tonight at the Bradley Center.
The Roadrunners now stand at 13-10 overall, 4-2 in the NJAC while the Scarlet Raptors fall to 4-21, 1-5 in the conference.
Ramapo battled in each of the four games as Rutgers-Camden would not back down. Pendleton led the Roadrunners with 13 total kills as she hit .300 on the night. Rookie
Rachel Selmore added ten kills and 21 digs while
Emily Guzman posted six kills, three digs and two blocks. Senior captain
Alexandra Kratochvil recorded six digs and one ace in the match while sophomore
Kaitlin Mac Iver dished out a team high 25 assists.
For the Scarlet Raptors, Morgan Halbruner and Cari Applegate each put down 11 kills while Cortnee Wilkerson added eight of her own. Melanie Kaiser collected a match high 28 digs while Applegate posted 13.
The Roadrunners return to action tomorrow night when they travel to Saint Joseph's College Invitational for matches at 6pm and 8pm.
