Box Score Langhorne, PA: The Ramapo College men's volleyball team fell to non-conference rival Cairn University tonight on the road, 0-3 (22-25, 22-25, 13-25). The Highlanders improve to 2-3 overall while the Roadrunners fall to 0-2 overall.
Brian Colabella led the Roadrunners with 16 kills on 36 attempts as he hit .333 on the night with one ace and two blocks.
Mike Kane and
Chris Sidnam each contributed with four kills apiece while they each collected four total blocks.
Andrew Balint dished out a team high 27 assists and two aces to lead the team.
Aaron Kerschner contributed with a team high seven digs. Ramapo tallied 31 kills on 87 attempts as they hit .126 in the match.
For the Highlanders, Noah Prickett and Josh Tuttle each posted 12 kills in the match while Ryan Garven added seven of his own. Prickett led the team as he his .524 (12-21) with only one error. Jon Wilson dished out 34 assists in the match while he also posted a team high eight digs. Cairn hit .304 in the match with 37 kills on 79 attempts and 13 errors.
The Roadrunners return to action on Saturday when they travel to Stevens Institute of Technology. They will take on the host Ducks at 11:00am and Sacred Heart University at 1:00pm.
