Box Score Union, NJ: The Ramapo College women's soccer team fell to NJAC rival Kean University today on the road, 4-0. The Cougars improve to 9-1, 4-0 while the Roadrunners drop to 4-5 overall, 1-4 in the conference.
For the Cougars, Carly Seidel led Kean with two goals, her tenth and 11th of the year. She sent the Cougars into halftime up, 1-0 after her goal in the 13th minute, she was assisted by Kristen Hager.
Seidel put Kean up 2-0 with an unassisted goal at the start of the second half (46:59) before the Cougars put two more goals on the board to take a 4-0 lead. Julianna Natale and Casey Carlasco each scored for Kean.
KC Nunez and Katlin King each saw time in the net for the Cougars while they recorded a combined three saves.
Talia Auslin recorded four saves for the Roadrunners.
Kean held a 18-7 advantage in shots along with a 4-1 edge in corner kicks in the game.
Ramapo returns to action when they host Mount Saint Mary College at 4pm on October 3rd.
