Box Score New York, NY:  Rookie Cathryn Smart led the Ramapo College women's volleyball team to a 3-1 (25-22, 20-25, 26-24, 25-16) over non-conference rival The City College of New York.

The Roadrunners improve to 8-7 overall while the Beavers fall to 4-5 overall. Smart led the team with 12 kills, seven digs and two assists. Senior Julia Tuzio added ten kills, one ace and 15 digs while rookie Emily Harris led the team with 19 digs. Sophomore Brittney Jemas collected seven kills of her own while adding ten digs and two aces. Rookie setter Kaitlin Mac Iver dished out a team high 27 assists and added three kills along with five digs.

Ramapo will return to action on Thursday when they travel to NJAC rival New Jersey City University for a 7pm match.
