Mahwah, NJ: The Ramapo College men's volleyball team earned two 3-0 sweeps today over Skyline foes, Purchase College (25-5, 25-10, 25-9) and Mt. St. Vincent (25-12, 25-19, 25-12).  With the victories the Roadrunners improve to 16-11 overall and 12-1 in the conference.

Nick Hrehovcik led all hitters in the team's first win of the day over Purchase College (2-18, 0-13 Skyline).  Hrehovcik hit .667 with his ten kills on 12 attempts and only two errors.  Andrew Balint assisted on 12 points while Joel Castro and Neal Sundberg chipped in seven and five kills respectively.  The team combined for 45 total kills hitting .759 in the win.  Harsh Prajapati and Matt Lajiness posted four assisted blocks each and Hrehovcik recorded three service aces, while Prajapati dished out  a team high 21 assists of his own. 

For Purchase, Mateo Morel led the team with four kills as they combined for 12 kills total in the three game loss.  Taylor Edelmann dished out ten assists and picked up a team high two digs.

Mike Kane led the Roadrunners over Mt. St. Vincent (11-14, 4-9 Skyline) hitting .714 with 11 kills on 14 attempts with only one error.  The Roadrunners hit a combined .473 combining for 42 kills on 74 attempts and only seven errors.  Prajapati dished out 20 assists and Balint added 12, while Prajapati picked up a team high seven digs.  Jeff Jones earned six points for Ramapo with six kills and Castro and Brian Colabella each added five of their own. 

Chris Bacchi and Joe Ecock each recoded ten kills for the Dolphins.  Michael Sin dished out 26 assists and Timothy Kolodny picked up a team leading ten digs on defense.

Ramapo returns to action on Tuesday, April 3rd when they play host to Sage College at 7pm at the Bradley Center.
