Lake Wales, FL: The Ramapo College Roadrunners defeated Endicott College, 3-1 (17-25, 25-21, 25-20, 25-21) at host, Warner University's Royal Volleyball Challenge, today behind 13 kills from sophomore
Jeff Jones.
Jones hit .478 with his 13 kills on 23 attempts and only two errors while
Paul Konopacki and
Joel Castro chipped in nine and seven kills respectively. The team went 52-112 with 21 errors hitting .277 on the day.
Harsh Prajapati dished out 36 assists and
Aaron Kerschner picked up ten digs in the team's 13th win of the year.
The Roadrunners wrapped up their Spring Break week with two tough losses to Warner University, 3-1 (19-25, 29-27, 15-25, 23-25) and 3-0 (15-25, 15-25, 18-25). Konopacki and Jones posted 12 and 11 kills in respectively, leading the team in the first match-up, while
Chris Sidnam recorded a team leading six kills in the final match-up of the week. Prajapati assisted on 25 points and picked up a team leading nine digs, while Konopacki added nine digs of his own in the 3-1 loss.
Andrew Balint took over setting duties in the second match-up adding 15 assists and Kerschner led the defense with seven digs.
Ramapo returns to New Jersey for a 7pm match-up with the Cougars of Kean University on March 29th.
