Mahwah, NJ:  The Ramapo College men's volleyball team defeated Skyline rival New Jersey City University, 3-1 (25-17, 25-23, 19-25, 25-16) tonight at the Bradley Center.

The Roadrunners who are ranked #13 in the latest AVCA Top 15 Coaches Poll improve to 5-2 overall, 3-0 in the conference while the Gothic Knights fall to 2-4 overall and 1-3 in the Skyline.

Ramapo was led by Neal Sundberg who tallied 16 kills on 26 attempts hitting .462 in the match while Jeff Jones added 11 kills on 17 attempts hitting .471 with two service aces and four digs. Chris Sidnam and Colin McNeill each contributed eight kills while McNeill added two aces and four total blocks. Andrew Balint posted a match high 40 assists. The Roadrunners posted team hitting percentage of .363 with 50 total kills on 91 attempts.

NJCU hit .195 on the night with 37 kills on 77 attempts. Justin Beaumont and Besmir Arsiani each tallied 11 kills for the Gothic Knights while Gary Preston, Jr. dished out a team high 33 assists. Patryk Rusznica led the team with five total blocks while Beaumont recorded six digs.

The Roadrunners return to action when they travel to Purchase College on Sunday, February 12th for a Skyline dual-match. They will take on Yeshiva University at 10:00am and host Purchase at 12:00pm.
