Mahwah, NJ: The Lady Roadrunners dropped a tough 142-112 decision today to the Hawks of New Paltz in a non-conference women's swimming match-up at the Adele and Reuben Thomas Swimming Pool located on the campus of Ramapo College.
Lauren Keller earned 1st place in the 200-yard freestyle touching the pool side in 1:59.75 for nine Ramapo points, before Brendan Slazyk earned an additional nine points in the 100-yard backstoke finishing the race in 1:05.16. Keller placed 1st overall in the 50-yard freestyle sprint in 25.50 and
Jamie Stein came in as one of Ramapo's top performers finishing in 1st place in the 100-yard butterfly in 1:05.33.
Maggie Nagle earned 1st place in the 200-yard IM clocking in in 2:27.22 and the 200-yard freestyle relay team, made up of Devan Swistak,
Megan Fosko,
Erika Vance, and
Amanda Wilson, placed 1st overall touching the pool side in 1:52.91.
The Roadrunners return to action after the New Year when they travel to Montclair State University on January 26th for a 1:00 PM match-up.
