Cathryn Smart led the Ramapo College women's volleyball team to a 3-1 (25-20, 25-23, 27-29, 25-19) non-conference victory over Hunter College tonight at the Bradley Center.
The Roadrunners even their overall record to 12-12 while the Hawks drop to 15-18. Pendleton pounded out 21 kills in the match, hitting .500 while she tallied two blocks. Smart added 20 kills, three digs and one block while sophomore
Brittney Jemas added seven kills, ten digs and two blocks. Rookie
Kaitlin Mac Iver dished out a team high 47 assists while leading the team with three aces. Mac Iver added 13 digs while
Catherine Kilduff led the team with 16 digs, she also posted two aces and one kill. Rookie
Emily Harris posted 14 digs while junior Alex Kratochvil added 15 digs and one ace.
For the Hawks, Lucia Stosic led the team with 13 kills while Taylor Kordich and Paulina Jobcyzk added 11 kills a piece. Mia De Carlo tallied 43 assists while Stosic added five blocks, three solo in the match. Jobcyzk also led both teams with 22 digs.
The Roadrunners return to action on Thursday, October 18th when they host NJAC rival Rowan University at 7:00pm.
