Box Score Mahwah, NJ: The Ramapo College women's soccer team fell to NJAC rival Rowan University today, 2-0 at the Athletic Center. The Roadrunners fall to 4-7 overall, 1-5 in the NJAC while the Profs improve to 9-2 overall, 5-1 in the NJAC.
The Profs got on the board in the first half (4:39) with a goal by Erika Suhl, her eighth of the year, she was assisted by Jess Durnian. Rowan would get an insurance goal from Suhl late in the second half when she tallied her ninth goal of the season in the 86th minute to take a 2-0 lead.
The Profs held an 8-3 advantage in shots on goal in the first half. For the Profs, Maria Dorris recorded six saves in the net while for Ramapo;
Talia Auslin collected 14 saves in the game. Rowan held a 12-6 advantage in shots in the second half while Ramapo recorded four corner kicks to Rowan's three for the game.
The Roadrunners return to action on October 13th when they travel to NJAC rival Richard Stockton College for a 1pm game.
