Mahwah, NJ: The Ramapo College women's swim team defeated NJAC rival William Paterson University tonight, 174-88. The Roadrunners improve to 1-4 overall, 1-2 in the conference while the Pioneers fall to 9-5 overall, 0-3 in the NJAC.
The 200-yard medley relay team made up of
Kelsey Rosko,
Stephanie Sinck,
Jamie Stein and
Kari Lefebvre placed first overall in 2:02.19.
Chelsey Neders captured a first place finish in the 1,000-yard freestyle as she clocked in at 12:10.17 while
Lauren Morgan placed first in the 200-yard freestyle in 2:09.63. Rosko took home a first place finish in the 100-yard backstroke (1:04.07) while
Lauren Keller finished in first place in the 50-yard freestyle (25.93). Keller won the 100-yard freestyle (57.11) while Morgan placed first in the 200-yard backstroke with a winning time of 2:26.32.
Maggie Nagle and
Amanda Wilson finished 1-2 in the 100-yard butterfly with times of 1:05.72 and 1:06.68.
The Roadrunners return to action when they travel to NJAC rival Rowan University on February 4th at 1:00pm for their final conference meet of the season.
