Box Score Glassboro, NJ: The Ramapo College men's soccer team posted a 3-0 victory over Berkeley College (NY) on day two of the Rowan Invitational Tournament on Saturday evening.
The Roadrunners improve to 2-0, while the Knights have a 0-2 record.
Forward
Rob Santaniello led the way with three goals. He scored six goals over the course of the two day tournament. Midfielders
Jonathan Yazo and
Joseph Kane and forward
Jaivon Palmer each had one assist.
Ramapo fired 17 shots while Berkeley recorded six. The Roadrunners' goalkeeper
Steve Monaghan made two saves for his first shutout of the year. Goalkeeper Camilo Montes stopped five shots in the Knights' net.
Santaniello converted a penalty kick at 22:31 in the first period. He added his second goal 2:15 later while Palmer and Kane both earned an assist. At 64:50 in the second half, Yazo passed the ball into the box as Santaniello fired the ball into the back of the net for the hat trick.

Chris Freeman, Yazo, Santaniello and Kane, along with Montes were chosen to the All-Tournament Team.
The Roadrunners return to action in their home opener on Wednesday, September 7th as they host FDU-Florham at 4:00pm.
