Mahwah, NJ: Head Coach DJ Pinton enters his 23rd season at the helm of the Roadrunners and welcomes back a solid core of players along with a talented group of transfers and promising freshmen class.

Dylan Perez and Gianfranco Ponce return after earning NJAC All-Conference honors last season, while Perez was also named to the United Soccer Coaches All-Region IV Third Team. Ponce led the team with seven goals and 17 points, while Perez tallied five goals, including two game-winners.  The attacking play will also get a boost from the return of 2024 NJAC All-Conference midfielder Kyle Allen who missed most of last season due to injury.  In that season Allen scored 9 goals and 4 assists in just 12 games.

A revamped back line with a trio of transfers will look to improve the defensive difficulties the Roadrunners had in NJAC play last season.  Zachary Natt returns in goal after logging 1,350 minutes last season and recording a team-high 78 saves. Natt posted eight wins, including five shutouts, while facing 204 shots.

When asked about how preseason has gone so far Pinton commented "I really have enjoyed preseason camp thus far.  I am impressed by the development of our sophomore class as they looked poised to make bigger contributions this season.  The attitude and effort has also been excellent, and the guys have really come together rather quickly on and off the field.  Understanding that the program has underachieved the last couple of seasons they know what is in front of them and are eager to get started to get us back on the right path."

The men's soccer team opens the 2026 season on the road at Wilkes University on Wednesday, Sept. 2 at 6 p.m. The Roadrunners will remain on the road for their next three games before hosting Marywood University in their home opener on Saturday, Sept. 12 at 2 p.m. Ramapo will take on three additional non-conference opponents before opening NJAC play at home against Kean University on Wednesday, Sept. 30 at 7 p.m. A full schedule can be found here.
