Box Score Mahwah, NJ: The Ramapo College women's volleyball team defeated Mount Saint Mary College today, 3-1 (25-17, 21-25, 25-21, 25-13). The Roadrunners improve to 8-4 while the Knights fall to 4-9.
Ramapo battled back after falling 25-21 in game two to win game three and four to take the match.
Michelle Ferrari led both teams with 19 kills on 50 attempts as she hit .300. Ferrari posted 16 digs and four blocks while
Julia Tuzio posted nine kills on 26 attempts, hitting .308. Tuzio also posted 15 digs and four assists.
Elizabeth Steck led both teams with a match high 22 digs while
Tiffany Fischer dished out 36 assists and added three service aces and five digs of her own.
Allison DiAngelo posted four solo blocks and seven kills while
Deandra Black added eight kills of her own.
For the Knights, Mary Ann Raftery posted 14 kills, a team high while Taylor Woegens posted ten kills. Lauren Halverson recorded 37 assists and 13 digs.
Ramapo will return to action on Thursday when they travel to NJAC rival Montclair State University for a 7pm match.
