Box Score Mahwah, NJ: The Ramapo College women's volleyball team defeated Rutgers Newark University tonight, 3-1 (25-16, 11-25, 25-17, 25-17). The Roadrunners improve to 3-3 overall, 1-0 in the conference while the Scarlet Raiders fall to 1-9, 0-1.

Allison DiAngelo led Ramapo with 11 kills on 33 attempts while Michelle Ferrari put down ten kills and tallied two blocks. Tiffany Fischer dished out a team high 27 assists and recorded 16 digs while Elizabeth Steck led the team with 18 digs.

Sara Pendleton added six kills and a team high four total blocks while Hailey Jester posted five kills.

For the Scarlet Raiders, Rachel Witt posted ten kills while Jen Mendoza tallied 25 assists. Erica Hoffman and Toni Moppert recorded 11 and 15 digs respectively.

The Roadrunners return to action Saturday at 11:00 am when they host John Jay, Lehman and St. Joseph's LI in quad-match.
