Scranton, PA: The Ramapo College women's volleyball (2-3) team split their two games today at the Scranton Invitational. The Roadrunners fell to host Scranton, 3-2 (25-19, 8-25, 25-21, 16-25, 12-15) and came back to defeat Centenary, 3-1 (25-16, 25-13, 14-25, 25-23).
Against Scranton,
Michelle Ferrari led Ramapo with 14 kills and 15 digs as she was named to the All-Tournament team for her efforts this weekend.
Allison DiAngelo recorded ten kills, three aces, 11 digs and one solo block while
Elizabeth Steck led the team with 18 digs.
Tiffany Fischer dished out a team high 27 assists while also adding two aces and one block.
In the Roadrunners' win against Centenary, Ferrari once again led the team with ten kills on 31 attempts to hit .258 while DiAngelo and
Sara Pendleton added five and four kills respectively. Fischer dished out 19 assists while adding seven digs and one solo block. Steck posted a team high 15 digs while Ferrari added 14 of her own.
Hailey Jester posted two solo blocks and four assisted blocks during the match.
Ramapo returns to action on Thursday, September 15th when they host NJAC rival Rutgers-Newark at 7:00pm.
