Owings Mills, MD: The #1 Ramapo College men's volleyball team fell in the ECAC Championship match to host #2 Stevenson University today, 3-2. The Roadrunners defeated #4 Bard College, 3-0 (25-17, 25-16, 30-28) in the semi-final game earlier in the day to advance to the championship match.

Against Bard, Paul Konopacki led Ramapo with 11 kills on 28 attempts and only one error, hitting .357 while Brian Colabella, Joel Castro and Jeff Jones each added seven kills. Kevin McNerney tallied a team high 14 digs while Mike Hrehovcik dished out a team high 33 assists.

In the Championship match against Stevenson, Jones tallied 19 kills while Konopacki added 16 of his own. Andrew Brown and Castro added six kills each while Mike Kane recorded five kills. Andrew Balint dished out a team high 49 assists. McNerney led the team with a season high 19 digs while Konopacki and Balint added 11 and ten digs respectively.

The Roadrunners finish the season 18-13 overall.
