Hoboken, NJ:  The Ramapo College men's volleyball team, seeded #14 in the 2011 NECVA Championship Tournament, fell short, 3-0 (22-25, 21-25, 21-25) to the #3 seeded Bearcats of Baruch College at host Stevens Institute of Technology today.  With the loss, Ramapo falls to 17-12 on the year and awaits news on a bid to the ECAC Championship Tournament.  Baruch advances to the second round and improves to 32-13 on the year.

Junior Paul Konopacki and rookie Brian Colabella led the team's offensive game with ten kills each hitting .474 and .643 respectively.  Rookie Jeff Jones put away eight kills and Andrew Brown chipped in seven while the team hit a combined .261 with 41 kills on 88 attempts with 18 errors.  Rookie setter Andrew Balint dished out 38 assists and senior libero Kevin McNerney picked up a team leading eight digs.  Brown recorded four service aces on the day.

The Bearcats were led by Pablo Oliveira who hit .696 with a team leading 18 kills.  The team went 42-69 with only seven hitting errors hitting .507 for the win.
