Wayne, NJ: The Ramapo College women's swim team fell to NJAC rival William Paterson University today on the road, 154-107. The Roadrunners fall to 5-6, 0-4 in the conference.
Ramapo placed second in the 200-yard medley relay with a time of 2:07.10, the team is made up of
Breanna Salazar,
Megan Robb,
Bethany Wozniak and
Kari Lefebvre. Wozniak won the 1,000-yard freestyle in 12:10.18 while
Jenny Lo picked up a first place finish in the 100-yard backstroke as she clocked in at 1:04.17.
Stephanie Sinck, Robb and
Jill Tracey all placed in the 100-yard breaststroke. Sinck placed second (1:12.46) while Robb finished in third (1:13.11) and Tracey finished in fourth (1:16.82). Lo placed first in the 200-yard butterfly in 2:34.27 while
Sarah Kauffman placed second in the 50-yard freestyle in 26.93. Lo picked up her third first place finish of the night in the 200-yard backstroke in 2:20.74 before Robb took second in the 200-yard breaststroke with a time of 2:39.51).
Sinck (5:52.20), Wozniak (5:54.50) and
Chelsey Neders (5:57.57) placed 1-2-3 in the 500-yard freestyle.
The Roadrunners will compete in the Metropolitan Conference Championships hosted by Rutgers University in Piscataway, NJ on February 18-20th.
