Ewing, NJ:  The Ramapo College (0-1, 0-1) men's swim team fell to NJAC rival The College of New Jersey (1-0, 1-0) today on the road, 168-88. This was the season opener for both teams.

The 200-yard medley relay team made up of Kelsey Rosko, Stephanie Sinck, Jamie Stein and Kelly Keller placed third overall with a time of 2:03.50. Keller clocked in at 2:04.67 in the 200-yard freestyle good enough for second place while Kelsey Rosko placed second in the 100-yard backstroke in 1:03.81. Sinck finished in third place in the 100-yard breaststroke when she clocked in at 1:13.39 while Keller took second in the 50-yard freestyle in 25.99. Keller also took second in the 100-yard freestyle race in 56.89 while Kari Lafebvre placed third in 1:00.01.

Sinck (2:41.98), Jill Tracey (2:55.66) and Chelsea Cummings (2:58.90) placed 2-3-4 in the 200-yard breaststroke. Rosko placed second in the 500-yard freestyle when she clocked in at 5:44.36 while Chelsey Neders placed third in 5:58.87.

Ramapo will return to action when they travel to Drew University on November 5th at 1:00pm.
