Mahwah, NJ: The Ramapo College women's swim team split a tri-meet today, defeating the College of Saint Elizabeth, 71-22 while the Lady Roadrunners fell to East Stroudsburg University, 64-30. The Roadrunners now stand at 3-4 on the season.
Ramapo placed second in the 200-yard medley relay when
Jenny Lo,
Stephanie Sinck,
Alice Sroga and
Sarah Kauffman clocked in at 1:58.85.
Bethany Wozniak placed second in the 1,000-yard freestyle with a time of 12:26.89 while Lo took second place in the 200-yard IM in 2:19.85. Lo also took second in the 100-yard backstroke in 1:05.96 while
Breanna Salazar placed third in 1:13.71.
Megan Robb and Sinck finished in first and second place respectively with times of 1:14.23 and 1:15.48 in the 100-yard breaststroke. The 200-yard freestyle relay team captured first place with a time of 1:53.81, the team is made up of Kari Lafebvre, Sinck,
Lindsey Poandl and Sroga.
The Roadrunners return to action tomorrow, January 16th when they host NJAC rival Rowan University at 12:00pm.
