RAMAPO DOWNS MSU, 3-0 IN NJAC ACTION

Mahwah, NJ: The Ramapo College women's volleyball team raised their season record to 10-2 and 3-1 in the NJAC with a 3-0 (25-16, 25-13, 25-14) win over Montclair State University today at the Bradley Center. The Red Hawks drop to 2-17 overall and 1-3 in the conference.

Junior Michelle Ferrari (Marlton, NJ) led Ramapo with 16 kills on 38 attempts as she hit .263 on the night, she also tallied nine digs. Junior Maura Burke (Wyckoff, NJ) tallied nine kills on 19 attempts, hitting .316 with two blocks while senior Meagan Taege (Manahawkin, NJ) recorded 13 digs and seven kills.

Junior Tiffany Fischer (Woodcliff Lake, NJ) dished out a team high 24 assists and 19 digs while recording three service aces. Junior Allison DiAngelo (Clifton, NJ) added three service aces and one kill while sophomore Julia Tuzio (Paramus, NJ) posted two kills, seven assists and three digs in the match.

For the Red Hawks, Marta Topor (Bogota, NJ) posted a team high six kills and five digs while junior Kristen Bronowich (Secaucus, NJ) added four kills and two blocks. Rookie Kaitlyn Irwin (Cranford, NJ) recorded a team high 18 digs in the match while sophomore Alyssa Batiste (Manahawkin, NJ) added 12 digs of her own. The Red Hawks tallied 14 digs and four service aces in the match while the Roadrunners pounded out 39 kills and nine service aces.

The Roadrunners return to action this Saturday when they travel to the College of Mount Saint Vincent. They will go up against host Mount Saint Vincent at 11:00 AM followed by a match against Saint Joseph's College.
