Mawhah, NJ: The Ramapo College women's soccer team fell to the Pioneers of William Paterson University today, 2-1 at the Athletic Center. The Roadrunners now stand at 3-7 overall, 0-4 in the NJAC while the Pioneers improve to 6-2-2 overall and 3-0-1 in the conference.

In the second half, the Pioneers tied the game at 54:28 with a hard cross into the box by sophomore Michelle Marabondo (Kenvil, NJ) and rookie Sheray Anthony (Cherry Hill, NJ) tallied her third goal of the season
With 71:19 into the game sophomore Laela Brock (Paramus, NJ) tallied her third goal of the season with a shot over the Ramapo keeper's head to take a 2-1 lead. The Pioneers would hold off the Ramapo offense the remainder of the game to pick up the victory. The Pioneers out shot Ramapo 16-7 in the game and recorded a 4-3 edge in corner kicks.
The Roadrunners return to action when they travel to NJAC foe Kean University at 1:00 PM.
