Mahwah, NJ: The Ramapo College women's soccer team fell to the #2 ranked The College of New Jersey today, 3-1. With the win the Lions remain undefeated at 7-0 on the year and 1-0 in NJAC play while the Roadrunners stand at 3-4 overall, 0-1 in the NJAC.

Sarah Barnes (Sayreville, NJ) hit the back of the net off a a cross through the box by rookie
Stephanie Andolino (Randolph, NJ) to take a 1-0 lead in the second minute of play. The goal was the first goal given up by TCNJ this season.
The Lion's would tie the game with an unassisted goal by Allyson Anderson (Point Pleasant, NJ) before she assisted on the game winning goal by Brenna Rubino (Voorhees, NJ).
TCNJ added an insurance goal by Annie McCarthy (Brick, NJ) just 2:49 seconds later in the first half to secure the win. Rookie Kendra Griffith (Cherry Hill, NJ) saw her personal streak of not allowing a goal snapped at 500:07. She made a career high six saves in the win.

Alyssa Krall (Toms River, NJ) tallied 12 saves in the game. TCNJ held a 22-9 advantage in shots and 13-2 in corner kicks.
The Roadrunners return to action when they travel to NJAC foe New Jersey City University on September 22nd at 4:00 PM.
