Josh Castillo (Garfield, NJ) led the Roadrunners to a 3-0 sweep over the Beavers of City College of NY (30-11, 30-20, 30-23), before the team added a second sweep of the day defeating Lancaster Bible, 3-0 (30-18, 30-17, 30-25) to improve to 7-3 overall on the year. In the second match-up of the day, Lancaster Bible defeated CCNY, 3-0 (30-21, 30-23, 30-21) and now stands at 4-8 on the year. With the two match sweeps, CCNY falls to 4-8 overall.
Match 1: Castillo hit .222 with nine kills on 18 attempts while the team combined for 48 kills on 86 attempts with 17 errors hitting .360 in the win. Rookie
Kevin Froehlich (Ringwood, NJ) added eight kills to the team's offensive attack, while assists were dished out by senior
Matt Scott (Edison, NJ) with 30. Junior defensive specialist

The Beavers were led by Nick Siriban (East Meadow, NY) who recorded seven kills and two digs. The team went 18-62 with 18 errors hitting .000 in the three game loss. Matthew Ng (Bayside, NY) added five kills and Jonathan Aguirre (Corona, NY) dished out 12 assists.
Match 2: Lancaster Bible, behind 13 kills from AJ Longacre (Quakertown, PA), defeated the Beavers in three straight sets. Jesse Corbin (Pittsburg, PA) added 11 kills in the win while Brent Hurst (Lancaster, PA) dished out 33 assists. BJ Boosz (Canton, OH) led the defense with ten digs and Dan McAllister (Etters, PA) recorded four total blocks.
Johnson Ho (Glen Cove, NY) put away nine kills for the Beavers and Siriban added six of his own. Aguirre contributed 23 assists and Ng recorded a team high five digs.
Match 3: Castillo added nine more kills in the second match of the day leading Ramapo's offensive attack along with Froehlich who chipped in 14 in the win. Scott dished out 49 assists and added four digs while Froehlich and
Joel Castro (Vernon, NJ) each contributed three blocks. The team combined for 54 kills on 88 attempts with 17 errors hitting .420 while Lancaster Bible recorded 22 combined kills with 66 attempts and 20 errors. Lancaster hit .030 in the loss.
Longacre recorded six kills and Hurst dished out 16 assists for Lancaster Bible. Justin Perkins (Lenox, Mass) chipped in six kills of his own and added four digs.
The Roadrunners return to action on Tuesday, February 16th when they travel to Lehman College for a 7pm match-up.
