Montclair, NJ: The Ramapo College women's swim team fell to the Red Hawks of Montclair State University today, 135-110. The Roadrunners stand at 2-3 overall, 0-2 in the NJAC.
Lauren Morgan placed first in the 500 yard freestyle with a time of 5:52.00 while
Alice Sroga took home a first place finish in the 100 yard butterfly as she clocked in at 1:08.19.
The 200 yard medley relay team made up of
Jenny Lo,
Stephanie Sinck, Sroga and
Sarah Kauffman placed second in 2:02.33 while Lo took home a second place finish in the 100 yard backstroke in 1:06.27.
In the 100 yard breaststroke, the Roadrunners placed 2-3-4, Sinck placed second in 1.14.98 while
Megan Robb placed third in 1:15.73 and
Jill Tracey placed fourth in 1:17.93. Kauffman captured a second place finish in the 50 yard freestyle in 27.22 before Sroga placed second in the 100 yard freestyle in 59.47.
The Roadrunners return to action when they host East Stroudsburg University and College of St. Elizabeth on January 15th at 1:00 pm.
