Mahwah, NJ: The Ramapo College women's swim team defeated Drew University today at the Adele and Thomas swimming pool, 113.5-89.5. The Roadrunners now stand at 1-1 overall while the Rangers drop to 0-1 on the season.
Sarah Kauffman (Wayne, NJ) placed first in the 50-yard freestyle in 27.20 and took home a second place finish in the 100-yard freestyle in 1:01.29.
Lauren Morgan (Allendale, NJ) took home a first place finish in the 200-yard IM in 2:22.41 while
Stephanie Sinck (Bridgewater, NJ) and
Breanna Salazar (Randolph, NJ) finished 3-4 in 2:31.67 and 2:37.05 respectively.
Alice Sroga (Mahwah, NJ) finished first in the 100-yard butterfly while
Bethany Wozniak (Bayville, NJ) took home third place in 1:10.38.
Kari Lefebvre (Toms River, NJ), Kauffman and
Caroline Colgan (East Brunswick, NJ) went 1-2-3 in the 100-yard freestyle with times of 1:00.88, 1:01.29 and 1:02.87. Sinck took home a first place finish in the 100-yard breaststroke with a time of 1:15.05.
The 200-yard freestyle team made up of Kauffman,
Sarah Conway (Middletown, NJ), Neders and Colgan place first in 1:54.09.
The Roadrunners return to action when they host SUNY New Paltz on November 13th at 2:00pm.
