New York, NY: The Ramapo College women's volleyball team split two matches on the final day of the Hunter College Tournament. The Roadrunners defeated Old Westbury, 3-0 (25-22, 25-15, 25-8) before falling to Elmira in the championship match, 3-0 (18-25, 11-25, 12-25). The Roadrunners now stand at 23-4 overall.

Meagan Taege (Manahawkin, NJ) and junior
Michelle Ferrari (Marlton, NJ) each tallied ten kills while Ferrari added one service ace and 12 digs. Taege posted one service ace and ten digs. Junior
Maura Burke (Wyckoff, NJ) added nine kills on 16 attempts, hitting .500 in the match while she recorded three total blocks.

Tiffany Fischer (Woodcliff Lake, NJ) dished out 25 assists while posting eight digs and two service aces. Sophomore
Julia Tuzio (Paramus, NJ) added eight kills of her own while junior
Elizabeth Steck (Marlton, NJ) recorded ten digs.
In the Championship match against Elmira, Ramapo saw their eight game match streak snapped by the Soaring Eagles. Ferrari led the team with eight kills and 15 digs while Burke added four kills and two blocks. Steck tallied 15 digs while Fischer posted 14 digs and 15 assists.
The Roadrunners will now host the semi-final match of the 2010 NJAC Volleyball Tournament on Thursday at 7pm at the Bradley Center. Ramapo, the #2 seed will take on the winner of the opening match, #3 Rutgers-Camden vs. #6 Montclair State.
