Union, NJ: Senior Randi Vizoco netted two goals as the Kean University women's soccer team shut down Ramapo College, 3-0, Saturday afternoon in NJAC action.
Vizoco scored the game-winner in the 14th minute of action with an unassisted goal. Vizoco took the ball about 10 yards out and the bender found the lower left hand side of the net. Junior Danielle Esposito would make it 2-0 as she took a pass from sophomore Carly Seidel and fired the shot from 15 yards out on a breakaway. The Cougars (7-2-2, 2-1-1 NJAC) would score again at 33:46 as Vizoco (pictured right) recorded her second goal of the match on a breakaway off a pass from Seidel.
Kean outshot Ramapo, 23-11 and held an 8-4 advantage in corner opportunities.
Senior Leandra Russo and sophomore Caitlin Hoskins combined for shutout for Kean while junior
Alyssa Krall had seven saves in the loss for Ramapo (3-8, 0-5 NJAC).
Kean will travel to Marywood University on Wednesday, October 6th.
