Patchogue, NY: The Ramapo College women's volleyball team improved to 18-3 overall today when they picked up two, 3-0 wins at the St. Joseph's College-LI Invitational. The Roadrunners defeated host Saint Joseph's-LI, (25-23, 25-18, 25-13) and Farmingdale State, (25-18, 25-13, 25-15).
Junior
Michelle Ferrari (Marlton, NJ) led the Roadrunners against the Golden Eagles with 13 kills on 23 attempts, no errors to hit .565. Senior
Meagan Taege (Manahawkin, NJ) added seven kills and three digs while junior
Elizabeth Steck (Marlton, NJ) posted a team high 11 digs and four service aces. Junior
Tiffany Fischer (Woodcliff Lake, NJ) dished out 22 assists and two service aces in the match while junior
Maura Burke (Wyckoff, NJ) tallied four kills and three total blocks.
In their match against the Rams, Taege led Ramapo with 11 kills while Ferrari posted ten kills, six digs and two blocks. Junior
Allison DiAngelo (Clifton, NJ) posted six kills on ten attempts as she hit .600 in the match, she also recorded five total blocks. Fischer dished out 28 assists while adding two blocks. Steck led the team with 16 digs and posted a perfect passing percentage.
Ramapo will return to action when they travel to NJAC foe Kean University on October 21st at 7:00 PM.
